The Golden Compass

Last Saturday I went to the movies to see the Golden Compass, which is now one of my favorite movies. It has it all--the adventure, intrigue, great cinematography, and great characters. This movie is a blend of fantasy, physics (quantum mechanics, string theory, and partical theory), and a tale of the consequences of what happens when one's opinion is different than the masses. I look forward to reading the next book and seeing the next movie.
