University of Washington Screenwriting Certificate Program in Seattle

I got notification today that I have been accepted into the University of Washington Screenwriting Certificate Program for 2013/2014. I'm so excited. I'm skipping around and letting go of helium balloons in my heart. I've always wanted to do this since I was in grade school when I used to write episodes of Gunsmoke. Although it is highly unlikely that I will make it since only 18% of members of Writers Guild of America are women and it is very hard for women to break into this field, I'm trying because I will regret forever not trying. It will be fun and I will learn and grow.
