Bridges in Washington

The Seattle Times this morning has a feature story on the front page with the headline, "7 low bridges hold similar risks." Okay, so there are seven more bridges in Washington. The budget in the state of Washington isn't overflowing with money and the public safety is at risk with these seven bridges so maybe, maybe....the trucking companies who make the profit from running trucks over these bridges should kick in and help pay. Until the bridges are fixed, trucks that could jeopardize the safety of these bridges should not be allowed to cross. Period.
